Loft conversion leads from the register
This is not a jobs board. It is the public application: a dormer, a loft extension, roof lights, a certificate of lawfulness. We classify the work from the proposal, not from the street name. You write to the house while the job is still a drawing, not a scaffold.
What we actually match
Most records never say “loft conversion”. They say rear dormer, hip-to-gable, or roof lights to the front slope. The classifier treats those as loft work, so a loft firm is not depending on one rare phrase.
You can also type keywords against the proposal text — dormer, velux, "roof lights" — and save that as an alert. That searches the register wording. It does not search inside the PDF drawings.
Five moments, not only submitted
Submitted is crowded. Granted, refused (they often try again), conditions discharged, and permission about to lapse are quieter. Loft converters use all of them.
Sales on the same streets
People convert lofts after they buy. A completed sale is public. It sits on the same patch as the planning list, with the same letter tools. A poor EPC is less often a loft job; we do not pretend it is.
